TeamForge test management with TestLink - User's Guide
Once you have installed and configured TestLink in
your TeamForge site, you must set up TeamForge to seamlessly integrate with TestLink.
Set up trackers
After you create a project, you must create requirement trackers and a single defect tracker to create an association between your TeamForge project and TestLink.
Add TestLink to a TeamForge project
When TestLink is installed and configured in your TeamForge site, project administrators can add it as one of their project tools and establish the association between the requirement trackers and the defect tracker created for a project.
Set TestLink permissions
After you create a project, configure TestLink in your project, and create roles for the project, you must assign appropriate permissions to the roles, including those that are specific to TestLink so that TeamForge users can access the associated test cases and test plans in TestLink.
Failed tests in TestLink added to TeamForge defect tracker
After you integrate TestLink with TeamForge projects, and associate TeamForge requirement tracker artifacts with TestLink, you can perform test case execution in TestLink. The test cases which fail in TestLink are added as defect tracker artifacts in TeamForge automatically.
Associate a tracker artifact with TestLink (Manual)
When test suites and test cases are created directly from TestLink and not via TeamForge, you can still associate them with the relevant TeamForge requirement or defect tracker artifacts manually.
Find a test case or test suite
When you want to search for an associated test suite or test case that you created in TestLink, you can use the quick search feature available on the top right-hand side of the TeamForge application page.
Localize TestLink via TeamForge
If you want to set your TestLink language preference to something other than English (default language), you can configure it in TeamForge because TeamForge supports Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Reports
The TeamForge-TestLink integration environment supports two specific reports.
