As conditions change, you may need to change what an attribute does, or the options it
offers.
Note: When you change default Project Tracker settings, any existing
projects that are still using the default settings will inherit the changed
settings. In projects where the original settings have been modified, a change in
the global defaults has no effect.

Go to the Project Tracker administration page.

Click Admin in the CollabNet
TeamForge navigation
bar.

On the site administration navigation bar, click Integrated
App.

Select Project Tracker and click
Configure.

On the Global Attributes tab, click the name of the attribute
that you want to modify.

Edit any summary information you need to change. For example:

Change the attribute type from the Input Type field.

Change the name or description.
Tip: Descriptions help users learn how best to provide
the information you want from them. To maximize your chances of getting useful data,
make your description as informative as you can.

If the attribute is a list-type attribute, use the Attribute Options
section to change the values in the list.

To enter additional values, add the value in the New field
and enter a unique order for displaying the value to users.
Note: Duplicate values for preferred order will generate an error.

To delete a value, check the Delete checkbox to the left of
the value.

Choose parent values for each attribute option.
For example, an attribute option named Operating system can
be the parent value for options such as Windows,
Linux, UNIX, and
Mac.
Note: You can reassign the namespace of a global attribute to another value only if the
attribute is not associated with an artifact type.
