Define a global query

When you create a query for the whole site (a global query), users in any project on the site can select that query and run it.

  1. Go to the Project Tracker administration page.
    1. Click Admin in the CollabNet TeamForge navigation bar.
    2. On the site administration navigation bar, click Integrated App.
    3. Select Project Tracker and click Configure.
  2. On the Project Tracker configuration page, click Global queries > Create New.
  3. Select the artifact types you want this query to search, and click Add Selected.
Tip: To save this list of artifact types for future use, click the Save This Query button in the Artifact Types Selected section.
  4. Select one global artifact type, "Defect" to use in creating the global query. You can specify additional query criteria, such as a date range, particular users associated with an artifact, and so on. Query criteria include:
    • Artifact ID
    • Personnel associations (This works with "user" queries)
    • Attribute value change
Note: User associations in the artifact type are displayed with the possible selections of "has users associated" or "does not have users associated." You may also leave this criteria unselected and not used in defining the query. (Only with a "user" query)
  5. Click Define query.
From this page, you can enter one or more of the following query criteria:
