Set up the hardware for Lab Management client nodes
Each class of the hardware that can be supported as a client node has a unique way of engaging the LOM
feature. You must perform a different initial set up for each machine type.
Set up Sun Microsystems SPARC servers using ALOM/RSC (Optional) Lab Management supports these Sun Microsystems SPARC servers with the Advanced Lights Out Manager (ALOM) System Controller and the Remote System Control (RSC) network-based remote consoles.
Register hardware in Lab Management
In this task, you add your hardware information to the hardware.conf file, located in the /etc/cubit/conf directory.
Add projects and profiles
When you add projects and profiles to the Lab Management Domain, they appear in the Lab Management Web Console as selections in the appropriate dropdown lists. You will require these options when you add your Client Nodes to the Lab Management Domain.
