Delete a snapshot

A snapshot is stored as a set of files in the same directory as other files that comprise the virtual machine and can take up as much disk space as the virtual machine itself. The amount of disk space used increases with multiple snapshots. When an ESXi guest has a number of snapshots, you may want to delete the ones that are no longer useful in order to free up disc space.

1. Select an ESXi guest and click Snapshot Manager.
2. To delete a snapshot, right-click it in the Snapshots Tree View and click Delete.
