Besides the basic information regarding the application, you can specify several
important parameters in the configuration file.
The xml file can contain the following information about the integrated application:
- name - Name of the integrated application.
- description - Description of the integrated application.
- baseurl - Location where the integrated application resource locator is expected to
go, when invoked.
- permissions - Set of permissions associated with the integrated application.
- prefix - The prefix identified for the integrated application.
- gourl - The Go URL of the integrated application.
- endpoint - The URL that contains the webservice descriptor language(WSDL).
- adminurl - The URL that provides integrated application administrator privileges
through TeamForge site
administration.
- Category - This is used to display the integrated application under a separate
Category tab.
- isbaseapp - To validate whether the integrated application is a base application
configured for the specified category.
- is-search-supported - To list the integrated application as an object category under
the TeamForge search options,
Jump to ID and Advanced
Search.
- require_prefix_project - Confirmation if the integrated application requires a
per-project prefix.
- require_scm_integration - The indication for the source code integration between
TeamForge and the integrated
application.
- Configuration Parameters - The parameters that the integrated application needs for
initializing itself.
- editable - Confirmation if the value specified in the configuration file is editable
using the Edit Integrated Application page.
- servicetype - The servicetype tag indicates whether the protocol used for
communication is REST or SOAP. The protocal could either be REST or SOAP.
You can specify permissions for integrated applications and map the same to all the
roles, as required.
Note: The associations between CollabNet
TeamForge and an integrated application can be
created only from CollabNet
TeamForge to the integrated application and
not vice-versa.
Note: To associate an object in an integrated application from within CollabNet
TeamForge, use the
[<prefix_objectid>] format. Successful associations appear
hyperlinked.
Tip: Each integrated application displays its prefix on moving the mouse over
the application name in the tool bar.
