Configure runtime for binary artifact repositories

Once a binary repository is created, configuring the repository to publish runtime data to Orchestrate is the next step that lets you track and visualize binary artifacts in real time using TeamForge Orchestrate.

To configure runtime for a binary repository:

  1. Click ORCHESTRATE in the project navigation bar.
  2. Setup your pipeline.
    Note: You must use an XDS source for the binary artifact. For end-to end tracability, it is recommended to use a source per binary repository.
  3. From the new XDS source, note the following information:
    1. Orchestrate's source association key.
    2. Queue name.
    3. Queue server URL, user name and password.
  4. Click Binaries in the project navigation bar.
  5. Select the binary repository for which you want to configure runtime.
  6. Click Configure Runtime.
  7. Type the source association key, queue name, queue server URL, user name and password.
  8. Click Save.
