Can I limit the number of characters for fields in a tracker?

No, it's not possible in the current version of TeamForge.

Currently, while creating the tracker custom flex field of input type "Text Entry", you can't control the maximum number of characters to be allowed. There is a "Field Width" that takes values to control the size of the text field, but not to limit number of characters entered.
