You can take various measures to maximize the security of your CollabNet TeamForge users.

Encrypt communication between the application and database servers
To prevent your data from being exposed in a readable format on the network, use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt the network traffic between the application and the database servers.
Set up SELinux
If SELinux is active on the server that runs your TeamForge site, configure it to allow the services that TeamForge requires.
TeamForge SELinux policies
TeamForge implements SELinux policies for most of its services such as JBoss, Apache, ETL, Tomcat and so on. However, you can use these instructions to revert these policies (not recommended) if required.
