Known Issues

The following issues are known to exist in CollabNet TeamForge 5.2.

Artifact ID Description
artf40804 In Internet Explorer 8, you may see a new popup on every project home page. To remove it, go to Tools > Internet Options. Select the "Security" Tab and click "Custom Level." On the "Display mixed content" option, select "Enable" and click OK. In the "Security Warning" pop-up, click Yes.
artf40743 When upgrading to CTF 5.2, the behavior of custom SVN hook scripts could be affected (sendmail is no longer included in the CollabNet distribution). Please review and test the contents of "/svnroot/*/hooks/".
artf39820 As may happen with any major release, some files and filenames of brandable content have changed. Among them, the images home_sourceforge.gif and project_sourceforge.gif have been renamed to home.gif and project.gif, respectively. Customers should carefully reconcile all their branding overrides with any such changes to file name or content that may be made in any release.
artf36285 You should not be restarting the Phoenix process under normal conditions, but if you do, you should restart the TeamForge application. The new search reindexer does not require that Phoenix be stopped for a successful reindex.
artf40206 Users with the Tracker Admin role can see the File Releases tool even if they do not explicitly have that permission.
artf40392 When a file is imported into CVS, TeamForge does not store the information associated with the commit.
artf37849 In the VMware version, the "recreate runtime" option is not supported. If you do recreate the runtime environment, the database password is reset, which causes a system error in the UI.
artf40500 It is possible to create a CVS integration using an invalid CVS host.
artf40501 When changing the HTTPD_* tokens in the site-options.conf file, please ensure that the changes that are made to the site-options.conf file are in the correct syntax for the apache configuration.
artf40540 There is a special wiki page, called $ProjectHome, whose view permission is tied to project view permission. You must be a project admin to edit this special page. All users with wiki edit/view can edit and view the other wiki pages.
artf40308 The installer does not provide exhaustive feedback when upgrading environment packages. For complete information, see the yum log.
artf39959 The system used to run TeamForge should include the "VMware Tools" package if and only if it is actually running as a virtual machine. Otherwise, library incompatibilities with the version of libstdc++ installed may prevent TeamForge's search services from running.
artf35248 If you bootstrap a site that has already been bootstrapped, you will get an error.
