New functionality in SourceForge Enterprise Edition 4.1 Service Pack 3

SourceForge Enterprise Edition 4.1 Service Pack 3 introduces the following expanded functionality:

LDAP support
Added support for authenticating SourceForge users against an LDAP directory.
Enhanced SourceForge Task Manager Add-in for Microsoft Project
Added foreign language support for non-english versions of Windows and Microsoft Project, added SSL support, and resolved a number of customer-reported issues with the add-in. See the Resolved Customer-reported Issues section of this document for a complete list of resolved issues.
Enhanced SourceForge Document Manager Add-in for Microsoft Office
Added foreign language support for non-english versions of Windows and Microsoft Office, added SSL support and Microsoft Office 2003 support, and resolved a number of customer-reported issues with the add-in. See the Resolved Customer-reported Issues section of this document for a complete list of resolved issues.
Expanded API calls
Expanded the SourceForge API to include the following SOAP calls related to associations and tracker artifact history:
  • createAssociations
  • listAssociations
  • getArtifactHistory
These calls plus their parameters and descriptions are detailed in the SourceForge Enterprise Edition 4.1 Developer Guide, Service Pack 3 update.
