RSS refers to the following formats:
- Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0)
- RDF Site Summary (RSS 1.0 and RSS 0.90)
- Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91)
- Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91) RSS is an XML based format. An RSS file (also
known as an RSS feed or RSS channel) consists of a list of items, each of
which contains a title, description and a link to a web page. Typically, the
full content itself is made available separately and can be accessed by the
link in the RSS file. The use of RSS feeds includes easily integrating new
content into web pages and making it available to end users
immediately.
