You have a home directory on each Lab Management machine to which you have login access. You can use this directory to store anything you want (subject to your organization's policies or CollabNet's Lab Management Terms of Service), including code for compilation, debugging logs, build artifacts, test results, etc.
Lab Management also provides a more advanced, per-project file-storage and sharing mechanism called the Project Build Library. This is the most basic way to get files in and out of the CollabNet TeamForge server, including the ability to check code in and out via Subversion and CVS, upload/download files, and send email.
CollabNet TeamForge and CEE are made entirely within CollabNet's secure network; we still recommend using encrypted protocols when possible.
You can also use WebDAV, SFTP or Windows RDP to transfer files.
Because there are so many different ways in which networks and systems can be deployed within Lab Management installations, it is hard to give general guidelines about how to transfer files to and from other network destinations. Depending on the rules established by your organization and the particular network location of individual Lab Management nodes, you may or may not be able to transfer files in or out of a particular place.
