When you log into the CollabNet TeamForge server to authenticate your username and password.
You cannot change the password indendently on the TeamForge Lab Management manager host or nodes. To change a TeamForge Lab Management password, change the password in your external authentication environment.
Note: If your external authentication source for CEE or CollabNet TeamForge is external to CollabNet, such as LDAP, your password will have to be changed at the source.
- When you change the password in CEE, it does not automatically take effect in your TeamForge Lab Management environment. The new password is effective only when you log into the TeamForge Lab Management web interface. AFter changing the password in CEE, you are prompted to log into the TeamForge Lab Management web interface at least once, so the changed password will be effective in this environment.
- When you log into the web interface using the new password, it is updated in the TeamForge Lab Management environment, and you can log into all the systems, including the nodes, using the new password.
