Add Windows images to the WDS server

You can add Windows images by using the Windows Deployment Services (WDS) MMC snap-in or by using WDSUTIL at a command prompt to load the Windows image.

The resources for these tasks are located on the Public folder on another computer, Mgr, in the same Microsoft network domain. Since the WDSUTIL scripts refer to the Z drive for the resources, you need to establish the mapping to this drive.

There are two ways to add Windows images to the WDS server: using the GUI or WDSUTIL commands. You can use either method.
