Install CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1

To get the functionality of CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1 with the ease of installation and maintenance that comes with VMWare, run CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1 in a VMWare player.

The trial and team versions of SourceForge run in an instance of VMWare Player.

Important: If you are already running the free 15-user downloadable version of SourceForge Enterprise Edition 4.4 or earlier, talk to a CollabNet representative before upgrading to CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1
  1. Get CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1
    Download the CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1 installer from CollabNet and unzip it on on the machine that will host your SourceForge site.
  2. Configure CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1
    After you have installed VMware Player, configure the CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1 VMware image.
  3. Set up email for your CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1 site
    After you have installed and configured CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1 in your VMware image, enable the site to send out emails to users.
  4. Supply your CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1 license key
    Your license key enables you to use CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise 5.1 for the period of your contract.
