To collaborate with others on a
CollabNet
SourceForge Enterprise 5.0 site,
start by getting a user account.

If your site authenticates through LDAP, follow these steps.
If your site does not authenticate through LDAP, skip to the next set
of steps.

In the
Log Into
CollabNet
SourceForge
section of the site home page, enter your
corporate LDAP user name and password.
Tip: In most cases, your user name and password
are the user name and password with which you log in to your
corporate network.

Click
Log In.

On the
Create Account page, re-enter your
LDAP password.

Enter your full name and email address and click
Create.

If your site does not authenticate through LDAP, follow these
steps.

Click
Create an Account in the
New Users section of the
CollabNet
SourceForge
home page.

On the
Create New Account page, enter a user
name for your account.
Note: Your user name must be between 1 and 15 characters long,
can contain only alpha-numeric characters without
spaces, and must contain at least one letter. The first
character must be a letter.

Enter and confirm a password.
Note: If you select a password that does not meet your
organization's password criteria, you will receive an
error message that indicates the security requirements
that were not met by your selection.

Fill in the rest of the fields and click
Create.

Check your email at the address that you provided.

Follow the link in the email to the
Log In page.

Enter your user name and password, and click
Log In.
Your
CollabNet
SourceForge Enterprise 5.0
account is now activated.
