Open an issue while viewing history

While viewing the history of an item linked with an issue tracker, you can open it from the log message area.

  1. Right-click an item in the Solution Explorer and select View History. Messages in the History Viewer display the ID of the artifact or issue associated with commits to the item.
  2. Select a message in the History Viewer.

  3. Right-click the artifact or issue ID in the Log message area, and select Open Issue.

    The issue opens up in the Desktop editor.
