Check out an item

From the CollabNet Site Browser, you can check out a Subversion item using AnkhSVN, and in the case of a Visual Studio project or solution, have it open up in the Solution Explorer.

1. In the CollabNet Site Browser view, right-click a Subversion folder or file in a CollabNet Enterprise Edition or TeamForge project, and select Open from Subversion. AnkhSVN's Open Project from Subversion window appears.

2. In the Open Project from Subversion window , select a location and revision for the checkout, and click OK.
   • By default, the contents of the parent folder of the item you selected, are checked out.
   • If you selected a Visual Studio project or solution, the project or solution opens up in the Solution Explorer when the checkout is complete.
