A CollabNet perspective is available when you install CollabNet Desktop - Eclipse Edition.
The perspective contains two CollabNet views:
- CollabNet Sites
- openCollabNet
You can also open these views from some other perspective.
Besides the two CollabNet views, the CollabNet perspective also contains Mylyn's Task Repositories and Task List views.
The CollabNet Sites view
In this view, you can access other CollabNet products or sites that you want to work with. For example, you can add a CUBiT manager site to view and access your CUBiT hosts. You can also add a CollabNet Subversion repository and checkout and work with a project.

The openCollabNet search view
In this view, you can select an available site such as http://www.open.collab.net, or add a new site, and search for content. You can also launch a CollabNet Site Browser by selecting the corresponding option for Forums, Newsletters, Training or Downloads.
