Create an issue

Add a new issue when you want to report a defect, or request and track a task, feature or enhancement.

There are five types of issues:
  1. In the CollabNet Sites view, right-click the Issue Tracker node under a CollabNet Enterprise Edition project. and select New > Task .
  2. In the New Issue Tracker Task dialog, select a component for the issue.
    Note: To make sure that the list displays all components available in the repository, click Update Components from Repository.
  3. Click Finish. The task editor displays the fields for the new issue.
  4. In the New Task editor, specify Subcomponent, Summary and Description which are required field. The other fields are optional.
  5. Assign the task a priority between 1 (highest) and 5 (lowest).
  6. Assign the task to an individual.
  7. Click Submit.
