Install a JIRA adapter

Install the JIRA adapter using the JIRA add-on Manager.

TeamForge Orchestrate currently supports JIRA 6.1. Use the JIRA adapter to notify TeamForge Orchestrate when JIRA issues (work items) are created, modified, or deleted. The JIRA adapter must be installed once on each JIRA server you wish to connect to TeamForge Orchestrate. Install the adapter using the JIRA add-on Manager.

Download the Orchestrate-JIRA-adapter-[version].jar JIRA adapter file from the TeamForge Orchestrate Community web site.
As a privileged JIRA user, navigate to Administration > Manage Add-ons > Upload Add-on
In the From my computer field, select your Orchestrate-JIRA-adapter-[version].jar file, then click Upload. You are now returned to the "Manage Add-ons" view and the "TeamForge Orchestrate Adapter" now be visible under "User-installed Add-ons".
Note: In the future you can upload new copies of the adapter and they will automatically upgrade the old adapter while retaining your old settings.
