View relationships between lifecycle activities using TeamForge Orchestrate's traceability report feature which graphs associations between activities such as TeamForge work items, builds, commits, and reviews.
The traceability report uses a radial graph to show relationships, with the query subject at the center of several concentric circles. The query or root node is represented by its activity widget with information on the activity ID, step number and other specific activity information available upon hover. The complete scope of relationships is mapped - activities that are directly related to the query subject appear on the first circle closest to the center, relationships to those activities appear on the second concentric circle, and so on. Straight lines between mapped activities indicate direct associations between them.
Missing commit details — TeamForge Orchestrate sometimes learns about commits before the details of these commits are officially reported by the commit source. Traceability graphs include these commits, but you cannot click on the commit nodes to get commit details. The output of a traceability report may be used to explore the relationships between activities in a lifecycle. For instance, you can see all activities related to a particular work item including commits, builds and reviews. This type of reporting is useful for root cause analysis and audit-oriented traceability investigation.
